This page is to give you an insight as to what to expect on a mobile home residential park.
For many people moving to a new country can be very daunting no matter how strong the desire to leave the weather behind that comes with living in the UK. Yes Spain has sunshine (300 days a year average) but it also has a different language, different culture and of course different customs. The answer it seems is residential parks specially designed for the very British Mobile Home. In the last 4 years the growth in all year round parks for mobile homes have been tremendous. There are now great numbers of parks and many ex-pats living on them.

By buying a mobile home you are no longer
out on a limb. The smallest park has at least 32 other homes on the park and the
largest have over 100 so there are lots of people there to assist you in
anything. They are English communities in the heart of Spain. All the parks have
English speaking managements and are there solely to ensure that you love living
on the Park.
The Parks them selves all have leisure facilities such as beautiful swimming
pools and bar complexes as well as restaurants and landscaped areas. Pets are
welcome on most of them although a few do not allow children as residents. These
parks are however more than happy for children to be on the park as guests of
the home owners.
So, you have your luxury mobile home in Spain and it is all yours. The land that
it is on belongs to the Park so there is always a lease involved and of course a
yearly fee for the lease. Most people living in Spain appreciate what they are
getting in return for the annual fees as the pool is maintained, the grounds and
landscaping kept and of course a reception to iron out any wrinkles. You get a
lot for your money compared with what you pay in community tax in the UK.
To conclude, moving to Spain to live in a mobile home is very easy and risk
free. You are not alone at any stage. There is always someone to help you. You
will become part of a community and join in the events organised if you so wish.
You will in a very short time learn some Spanish and start to enjoy their
customs. The people are very friendly and will welcome you. If in the back of
your mind you think you might like the idea you have to take a look first and a
visit to Spain is always worth it.
